Be like little children
“I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned, and revealed them to little children”- Luke 10:21
This verse, spoken by Jesus our Lord, is on the wisdom of simplicity. The spiritual truths were revealed to people who had the minds as simple and open as little children, whereas the same were hidden from the wise and the learned ones.
Christianity does not mean knowing all the theories about the New Testament nor all the theologies related to Christ. The simple fact is that Christianity does not mean knowing about Christ, but it means knowing Christ. Knowing Christ does not require any earthly wisdom, but it requires heavenly grace.
Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven”. Beloved readers, have that simplicity and openness to learn as of a little child. You need not learn the entire theology to know Christ, but it requires a simple and open mind as of little children and the Grace of God will reveal the great truths to you.
Prayer: Father, help us to be like little children, simple and open to understand that in Your presence, we will know more about Jesus and accept him as our way, truth and life.
